Nawy Shares and CI Capital Asset Management Partner to Launch Real Estate Investment Funds

Nawy Shares and CI Capital Asset Management (CIAM) have signed a partnership agreement to establish and manage digitally enabled, multi-issuance real estate investment funds. The partnership combines Nawy Shares’ real estate and technology expertise as Egypt’s largest fractional real estate investment platform with CIAM’s position as Egypt’s largest asset manager by assets under management and one of the largest in the region.
The concept of fractional investment overcomes the traditional barrier to investing in premium properties offered by leading real estate developers, which required paying millions of Egyptian pounds, whether as a down payment or in monthly installments. It allows investment with amounts starting from as little as a few thousand pounds. The proposed funds aim to extend the same principle by making real estate investment accessible to a wider range of investors, through the professional investment approach offered by this partnership and within a regulated capital markets framework.
The partnership follows new regulations issued by the Financial Regulatory Authority governing investment in real estate fund certificates through digital platforms, allowing real estate investment, fractional ownership and digital access to be offered within a regulated investment structure.
Under the agreement, the two firms will explore real estate funds focused on capital appreciation through development projects and income generation through operating assets, with individual issuances potentially linked to specific real estate projects and opportunities.

Nawy Shares, Egypt’s first and largest fractional real estate investment platform, currently offers more than 400 properties across 35 projects and around 16 developers. CIAM’s assets under management reached EGP 183.6 billion as of June 2026, while it maintained its leadership of Egypt’s managed funds market with a market share of approximately 30%. CIAM has also expanded regionally, most recently through its selection to manage investments for the African Union Peace Fund.
Subscriptions to the first fund issuances are expected to open in early 2027, subject to completion of the establishment process and the required regulatory approvals.
