Empire State Developments introduces loft units at Upmount with a Distinctive Concept in the
Empire State Developments plans to introduce Upmount in the New Capital, presenting a modern loft-style concept that embodies the company’s commitment to architectural innovation, psychological well-being, and superior living quality.
Eng. Mostafa Mohsen, Chairman of Empire State Developments, said that Upmount marks the company’s third development in the New Capital, following Centro Business Park and Evet Mall, reflecting Empire State’s strong confidence in the city as a cornerstone for urban development and sustainable investment in Egypt.
He added that the choice of the name Upmount aligns closely with the project’s concept and location. The name means “the elevated plateau,” reflecting both the nature of the land and the project’s distinguished positioning.
Upmount also complements the design philosophy, which is based on carefully calculated elevations and expansive views within the units, providing residents with a continuous sense of comfort, spaciousness, and privacy.
Mohsen explained that the project introduces an innovative and non-traditional loft unit concept to the Egyptian real estate market. Selected areas within the units feature ceiling heights of up to six meters, creating open spaces and comfortable internal vistas that enhance tranquility and promote psychological well-being.
He disclosed that the loft unit concept goes beyond being a distinctive architectural design to represent a complete lifestyle that offers flexibility in space utilization and gives residents greater freedom to reshape their units according to their needs. This approach delivers a more personalized and elevated living experience, with the company offering these units in a variety of spaces.
He stated, “We drew inspiration from traditional Egyptian homes, which were known for their high ceilings and spacious interiors. However, Empire State Developments has reintroduced this concept through a contemporary vision that blends authenticity with modernity, using modern architectural designs and contemporary interiors that align with the demands of modern living in the New Capital.”
The project is situated in R8 District at the New Capital, occupying a prime corner on a main square with direct frontage on two major roads, each 60 meters wide, offering expansive views and strong investment potential.
He concluded that the company limited the built-up area to no more than 17.5% of the project’s total land area, prioritizing green spaces, landscaping, and open areas. Loft units account for approximately 40% of the total units, with sizes ranging from 75 to 230 sqm. Additionally, Empire State Developments is introducing traditional residential units for the first time, featuring a variety of designs and layouts to cater to the diverse needs of its clientele.
